Dog owners can take ‘paid puppy leave’ at this company

*applies for new job*

The dream.

Scottish company Brewdog has introduced ‘puppy leave’ for new dog owners and yes, this time off is paid.

It doesn’t stop there either for the company encourages employees to bring their dogs to work once the leave has finished up.

Brewdog is based in Aberdeenshire and there are currently 50 ‘office dogs’ just hanging out at the offices.

Again, this is just the best thing ever, because even if you don’t have a pet, you can experience puppy love EVERY DAY while you’re at work.

Co-founder James Watt spoke to Metro about the (brilliant) concept:

“It’s not easy trying to juggle work and settle a new dog into your life, and many members of our crew have four-legged friends at home”.

“So we wanted to take the stress out of the situation and let our teams take the time they need to welcome their new puppy or dog into their family.

“We always want to raise the bar when it comes to offering our staff the best possible benefits; at BrewDog we care about two things above all else. People and beer.

“We also just really, really like dogs”.
