This is Lady, an elderly black Labrador who will live out her days in the lap of luxury after being cruelly abandoned by her adopted family.
Lady first arrived in a Sedan, Kansas animal shelter after her first owner passed away but she was soon adopted by a family that she grew very close to. However, the family returned her to the shelter claiming she was rough with their puppy.
Poor Lady was adopted again by another family but decided that she wanted to return to the original adopters. She walked 30 miles to get back home.
But the first family refused to take her back and now that she had left her other home, the second family refused to take her back in. Lady ended up back in the shelter.

The wealthy Florida Wrigley Gum heiress couldn't stand how Lady had been treated and so sent a private plane for the dog to be picked up. According to Gawker, Lady will now live in the greatest luxury for the rest of her life.
