Please excuse us while our hearts melt…
Dublin Zoo has today introduced two of their newest arrivals to the public, twin red pandas.
The twins, one male and one female, were born on July 14th and weighed approximately 150 grams. Although the cubs were born almost three months ago, it is only now the cubs are starting to venture out of their den.

The zoo reports that the “thriving” newborns have a very strong bond with their parents, Angelina and Chota.
Team Leader Eddie O’Brien said, “Red pandas are endangered in the wild so we are over the moon that this is the third litter born to Angelina and Chota at Dublin Zoo. The cubs are both doing very well and getting more adventurous and confident.”

Dublin Zoo is now inviting fans to suggest a name for the newest arrivals, to be in with the chance of winning a family pass. Name suggestions can be submitted through the Dublin Zoo Facebook page, www.facebook.com/dublinzoo.
