A 43-year-old woman was arrested at Madrid airport on Friday after she was found to be carrying 1.7kg worth of cocaine in breast implants.
The Venezuelan woman was arriving on a flight bound from Colombia when the discovery was made.
After displaying some suspicious behaviour the woman was searched and all luggage was in the clear.
It was then that female officers conducted a body search and reported "certain irregularities and deformations in both breasts".
Spanish police explained: "During a check of passengers from a plane from Bogotá, the gestures and behaviour of a supposed tourist raised the suspicions of narcotics agents".
After the irregular lumps were spotted, the woman became nervous and confessed to having drugs inside her implants.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital where the implants were removed and a total of 3.75lb of the Class A drug was found.
