“Commuters are invited to take a book, read it and then return it another day for someone else to read,” the Luas website states. “Tweet if you find a book #BookOnLuas.”
There’s a large variety of events planned for this weekend’s Dublin Book Festival, centred around the Smock Alley Theatre which is situated on Exchange Street Lower in Temple Bar.
In the meantime, the novel Luas idea has earned a lot of fans on Twitter.
