A Dublin man has started a petition to save the pink Snack bar.
On Thursday Cadbury’s Irish operations announced that they would be discontinuing the production of pink Snack bars later this year.
As well as meaning the end of an iconic treat, it will also lead to the loss of more than 200 jobs across Cork, Kerry and Dublin.
However Gerard Maguire, of 64 Wine, is determined to stop this so he has launched a campaign and is asking people to get involved.
After hearing the news he tweeted: “Cannot believe we r losing 1 of all time great chocolate bars!! I watched all the classic movies with a pink Snack [sic].”
