A good lad.
Have you got your Christmas lights up yet?
If you do, fair play, glad to hear it.
And if you don't, you need to get an eel over and light up your life, girl.
Because, apparently, they do that now.
Well, there's one in Tennessee that does anyway. His name is
Miguel Wattson - and he's the best lad.
Every time he releases a jolt of electricity in his tank, the Christmas lights on the Christmas tree beside his tank at the Tennessee Aquarium light up.
De
lightful, some might say.
Aquarist Kimberly Hurt, who looks after Miguel,
told NPR that now, everybody will be able to see exactly when the electric eel releases his jolts.

"There is a sensor directly in his exhibit that picks up when he produces electricity," she said.
"It'll light up the board. It also does make some noise so people can hear when he's producing electricity."
Miguel's electrical bursts were already hooked up to a sensor before this, which then connected to a soundboard and light board to depict exactly when he was sending out his spurts.
Of course, his bursts aren't directly attached to the tree, but rather fed through the sensor and then to the light board, "translating when he's producing electricity to the lights."
This isn't the first time that Miguel has caused a stir though.
He's actually a little bit Twitter famous, having amassed about 30k followers since his account was first set up in 2014.
The account,
@EelectricMiguel, publishes tweets like 'ZIPPITY-ZAPPITY-ZOOP!' or "CRACKLE!' every time Miguel jots above a certain power threshold.
So yeah, clearly worth a follow, tbh.
