Ever Watched A Cringeworthy Sex Scene With The Parents? This Website Is For You

'SOMEONE CHANGE THE CHANNEL!'

Ellen Tannam

Picture the scene, you’re watching a film with your parents, you both don’t know a lot about it. It’s going off without incident so far. Brilliant.

Until that is, the surprise sex scene rears its ugly head and everyone in the room either buries their face into a cushion or scrambles for the remote to fast-forward through the offending scene. There’s nothing worse.

Well, now there’s one way to avoid this dreadful situation according to i100. The site is called CringeMDB (a play on the popular movie trivia site IMDB) and it’s pretty brilliant.

It’s a database of lots of films from the last ten years, and you simply enter the title of the movie to see whether it’s suitable to watch with your folks.

I gave it a try below with Home Alone Two:

And with 500 Days Of Summer:

Just think of how much mortification this will save us all.
