FAIL: Scotland And Ireland, Sure They’re All The Same – Travel Magazine Gets It So Wrong

Geography can be difficult, and if we’re honest not many here in Her.ie towers really excelled in the subject at school. However, we were never this bad… 

This image is taken from TNT Magazine, a free publication that focuses mainly on travel, job and living tips for Londoners.

The page advertises flights to Dublin from London with Aer Lingus and attempts to give the general direction of where one would be travelling. Attempts.

The person who created the map either really dislikes Scotland or they managed to skip Geography lessons all together.

Samantha Barry, a journalist and social media producer for the BBC, spotted this error and she sums it up quite well with her hashtag, ‘epic map fail’.
