Feeling festive? Wreath-making workshops are happening in Dublin

These are stunning.

There are a number of things we can unequivocally associate with Christmas.

Trees. Gin baubles. Gifts. Turkey. Your granny having her one Baileys of the year and falling asleep by the fire at approximately 5pm. Santa. Lights.

Another thing that absolutely screams ‘happy holidays’ is the Christmas wreath.

Who among us hasn’t passed by a house covered in fairy lights with a neat little wreath hanging from the front door and thought: “stunning.”

We certainly have.

So, how lucky for us that there are going to be wreath-making workshops happening in Dublin soon to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.

… And learn some new festive-based skills while we’re at it.

Organised by Claire Ryan and Steph Hutch of The Crate, the workshops will teach customers how to design and create their own custom willow wreath.

The floral arranging company usually styles unique wildflower bunches but this winter they’ve decided to try their hands at something more seasonal – and include their customers in the festivities too.

Each wreath will be made from autumnal foliage, stunning wildflowers, berries, and greenery.

There’ll also be a glass of bubbly on offer too.

Wreath-making and drinks is certainly not your average evening out with the gals… but we’re definitely into it.

The Crate’s first workshop will kick off from 6.30pm-8pm on Tuesday, December 5 in Network Cafe39 Aungier St, Dublin 2.

The second will be happening at the same time on Tuesday, December 12 in Pot Bellied Pig, 11 Rathmines Rd Upper, Dublin 6.

The workshops cost €60 per person or will be charged according to private party size.
