She used social media to spread awareness of the act of ‘groping’.
At time goes by, it seems like things for women in the world are only getting worse.
Just last week, we saw one woman be sexually assaulted on live French TV as the audience and TV host watched on and laughed.
The amount of male entitlement in this video is beyond disturbing. How can anyone think this is okay? pic.twitter.com/3ZX2GHdxJg

Another woman who has been victim to unwanted advances from a man is Ariana Lenarsky.
The performer and producer, from Los Angeles in the U.S. was taking a flight when a man suddenly reached out and stroked her leg as she walked by.
Since the plane was in flight, a confused and understandably upset Ariana was unsure of what to do so asked her followers on Twitter for advice on how to deal with the incident.
In a thread, Ariana detailed what happened after she was groped and how she was met by air staff when she reported the man for groping her.
Some guy grabbed & stroked my calf (??) as I walked by on the plane, so I took his picture. Not gonna post it, but I hope he’s freaked out.

I just told the flight attendants, and they both nodded. They already knew who it was, because other women already complained. Lol.

Anyway. We don’t land for an hour and a half. Anything else I need to do here? Tag the airline? Tweet the photo?
— Ariana Lenarsky (@aardvarsk) October 23, 2016
I am now going to ask the flight attendants what they plan to do when we land.
— Ariana Lenarsky (@aardvarsk) October 23, 2016
They told the captain and are filing a report with the airline. Local authorities will meet the plane when we land.

Police took him off the plane. I’m still here & they’re taking my & another woman’s report. The legal term for how he grabbed me is battery.

While the air staff attempted to help Ariana, she still felt disappointed by the lack of consequences for the groper. Police informed her of what they could do.
If I want to press charges, I’d have to fly back to Austin on my dime, since it’s Austin PD’s jurisdiction. I don’t want to do that.

Police said they would “give him a talking to”& “it’s not the crime of the century.” True! I’m going to tweet his picture now since it’s nbd

After the lack of action on the behalf of the police, Ariana then went on to tweet his photo to warn other women.
You can’t grab women on a plane, guy. You can’t do it. Hope you get the help you need. pic.twitter.com/5A5nGqdx87
