Festival goers on the way to Electric Picnic help a thirsty cyclist well on his way

They're one sound bunch...

Festival fever is truly hitting the nation!

Most of the country is feeling the good-natured festival vibes as Electric Picnic has begun.

The 3-day festival begins today as those descending on Stradbally have taken today off and plan their travel down; checking the weather reports religiously; and lapping up every titbit of information that has emerged about the festival.

One group of festival-goers were on their venture down to Co. Laois, enjoying the unusually good weather, blaring the tunes and of course, having a few cold ones in anticipation before arriving at the Laois town.

Spotted on JOE.ie, one gang of friends were Stradbally bound when they bumped into a pair of cyclists. Abigail Herbert and her pals were driving down when they passed them.

Not ones to leave the cyclists out of the party going on in their car, they offer a beer to one of the cyclists and of course, he has a good aul’ swig.

Cormac O’Reilly, breakfast roll in hand and being the kind, generous gent he is, shouts “get her into ya!” before cheering as if his life depended on it.

The good-natured cyclist has a drink of what looks like to be a warm can of Budweiser before giving it back to the whooping crowd.

ONLY IN IRELAND…

I’m not feeling festival FOMO, YOU ARE!
