Making your own juice recipe isn’t hard as long as you have a decent juicer and fresh fruit and vegetables.

This week… Keep up your defences with Full Immunity juice

Ingredients

  • 1 medium (180g) apple
  • 180g carrots
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 thumb (24g) of ginger root
  • 40g of parsley

Method:

  1. Chop the ingredients into chunks, leaving the skin on. Put into blender or juicer.
  2. Add the parsley, tearing it up in your hand and breaking down any stalks.
  3. Turn on blender and blitz. Add water if consistency is too thick for your taste.

Health Benefits:

As well as being great for digestion, ginger helps kick a fever by stimulating circulation of the blood. The warming effects make it a natural decongestant as well as an antihistamine, making it the perfect remedy to kick-start some of those winter colds.

Apples contain a natural laxative, and when juiced, it helps aid bowel movements. It is most effective when mixed with carrots.
