Final call for expectant mums to apply for the second series of ‘The Rotunda’

If you're expecting a baby this month or next in The Rotunda Hospital, you are eligible to take part in the new series of the hospital documentary.

The hugely successful programme The Rotunda is back for a second series due to popular demand and they're appealing for applicants. Scratch Films are looking for mums-to-be who are due to have their baby in the Rotunda hospital January or February 2019 to take part in the next series. The programme follows patients and staff, celebrating the work done by the tireless team and getting a unique insight into the world’s longest running maternity hospital. To date almost one million babies have been born on the premises and on average 24 new Dubliners arrive each day on the premises.

Viewers were blown away by the courage of the families last year who took part and gave an honest depiction of the highs and lows of childbirth. So too, the incredible spirit of the staff at the hospital was highlighted in the award-winning first series.
