When a book is being adapted for the big screen there is always a lot of talk, and quite a bit of criticism, regarding the casting choices.

Just think back to when Robert Pattinson landed the role of Edward Cullen in Twilight or Anne Hathaway appearing as Emma in One Day.

 

The majority of Twilight fans grew to like Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen.

Sam Claflin being picked to play Finnick Odair for The Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire was no different.

But we have to say that we think the Snow White and the Huntsman star looks rather dashing in character on this week’s cover of Entertainment Weekly.

Catching Fire, which is due to hit theatres at the end of this year, has huge expectations surrounding it but we reckon it and Sam will live up to the hype.
