Location It’s a hotel that is very accessible from Dublin city centre which means it’s not too far away for those who live in the capital, and you can make a day of it if you travel from further afield. It also has picturesque surroundings and rich furnishings. Good facilities If you like keeping fit or are looking for a nice (but active) weekend away, this is definitely the place for you. As well as a nearby golf course, there is a gym and a swimming pool area. The facilities are finished to a high standard and staff are on hand to help with any questions. Tonic Spa Definitely one of the highlights, the Tonic Spa is guaranteed to put you at ease. The relaxation room has a nice ambience and joint treatment rooms are available (perfect for friends or couples). We can personally vouch for the hot stone back massage which is incredibly therapeutic. Our only complaint is that we now want one every day! Afternoon Tea Delicious doesn’t even cover it. The afternoon tea for two is full of variety with mini bruschetta, fruit scones and homemade Victoria Sponge Cake just a few of the highlights. It is held in a gorgeous room at the back of the hotel and is great value for money. Excellent staff The staff in both the spa and the hotel itself are very accommodating and incredibly attentive from the moment you step into the lobby. They were friendly and conscientious, going over and beyond what is required, making this a very welcoming spot indeed.
