This evening, take a trip to some of the world’s coldest regions with David Attenborough. The wildlife expert takes a look at the polar bear and how climate change is affecting the environment it lives in.

Strictly Come Dancing – BBC one (6.30pm)

All the hard work has come down to tonight for Dani Harmer, Kimberley Walsh, Louis Smith and Denise Van Outen who will be performing a show dance which can include anything they want. But who will lift the Glitterball trophy at the end of the evening?

The Nation’s Favourite Christmas Song – UTV (6.30pm)

The Jonathan Ross Show Christmas Special – UTV (9.00pm)

Tonight Jonathan Ross will be joined by a number of guests including comedian Michael McIntyre, singer Charlotte Church, actress Sienna Miller, television chef Jamie Oliver and stage star Sheridan Smith.

Patrick Dempsey plays a man who realises he is in love with his best female friend (Michelle Monaghan). The only thing is she has just announced that she is getting married and wants him to stand beside her on her big day.
