One mum has revealed a genius hack which is bound to keep it fresh for longer.
She told her followers that all you need is a mason jar for this affordable hack.
She explained in her Facebook post that it took her 25 years to realise this but she's not looking back.
"I don't know who needs to know this because it took me 25 years and a TikTok to learn, but putting your fruit in mason jars rather than the containers they are stored in at the time of purchasing is a HALLELUJAH for me," she wrote.
What you need to do is take the fruit out of the packaging and then wash it in fresh water.
Once it's clean, place it in the mason jar.
The mum stressed that you need to make sure the lid is screwed on tightly.
Then, all you need to do is simply pop the jars in the fridge and you'll have fresh fruit for weeks to come.
Fellow parents praised her for sharing the hack with them because we're all trying our best to save money and the last thing we need is to waste money on food we're not even eating.
We're so tired of spending so much money on the food shop so we'll be trying this hack out next time we've got fresh fruit in the house.
The days of moldy strawberries are no more.
