Fancy working for the Queen?

We mean, we’re sure you’re going to run into the whole crew – Prince Harry, Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – but specifically you’re being asked to put together events for the Queen and her various charities.

Yep, Buckingham Palace is looking to an Events Assistant and you’ll have a two year contract with the palace, starting in November.

In the job description, it reads:

“You’ll work alongside the Events Coordinator in managing a wide ranging schedule of events and activities, ensuring an exceptional guest experience every time.

“Keeping up with a busy schedule will be critical. And you’ll be a central point of liaison within the team, effectively communicating event information to all operational teams and event organisers.”

While duties will include:

“Providing wide-ranging administrative support, be it co-ordinating invitations, helping with logistics or updating databases, you’ll find that no two days are the same.”

More than anything else, you’ll need to be:

“A professional and confident communicator, you’ll enjoy building relationships with a wide range of internal colleagues and external people alike.

“A real team player, you’re able to work flexibly and effectively to support your colleagues.

“And above all, you’re able to work independently when needed and can handle multiple priorities with attention to detail that is second-to-none.”

The pay per annum is £21,000, you’ll be working a 37.5 hour week and you will receive benefits. If you want to check the job out, visit here.
