Get the Barbecue Ready, That Good Weather is Here to Stay!

There's a fine week ahead...

Rebecca McKnight

Sun-seekers rejoice – that glorious weather is here to stay.

Good news for all of those who happen to be off this week, (hands up who regrets not becoming a teacher?!), temperatures are set to stay high for the coming days with more sunshine in store.

Continuing on from today’s blue skies and balmy highs of 17C, the week ahead will stay bright and dry.

A spokesman for Met Éireann told The Mirror: “It’s looking very good. The warmest parts of the country will be up to 17C.

“It would be warmer than normal for the beginning of April, certainly warmer weather than we’d normally get.”

The five-day forecast is promising also, with tomorrow set to be “a dry, mostly sunny day”, with top temperatures of 15 to 17 C.

Wednesday will be “another fair day with good sunshine” and the country is set to stay dry and warm through Thursday also.

Make the most of it while it lasts though, as “present indications suggest it will become more unsettled on Friday” and the rain will return.
