A spokesman for Met Éireann told The Mirror: “It’s looking very good. The warmest parts of the country will be up to 17C.
"It would be warmer than normal for the beginning of April, certainly warmer weather than we’d normally get."
The five-day forecast is promising also, with tomorrow set to be "a dry, mostly sunny day", with top temperatures of 15 to 17 C.
Wednesday will be "another fair day with good sunshine" and the country is set to stay dry and warm through Thursday also.
Make the most of it while it lasts though, as "present indications suggest it will become more unsettled on Friday" and the rain will return.Explore more on these topics:
