It’s a truly sad day.
Beloved of barflies and GAA fans, the famous Pink Snack has lost weight, and it’s not a pretty sight.
It’s hard to see why anyone would thing the Pink Schnack, as it is most-often pronounced, would need a makeover, but one of the holy trinity of Snacks has lost a finger.
That’s right, if you head for the shop on your break today intent on getting a treat for your tea time, you’ll find a slimmed-down two-finger version of the snack.
When questioned about the move on their Facebook page by an unhappy customer, Cadbury said “We understand that you are disappointed. We had to take this decision owing to a range of financial factors, such as commodity pricing and rising costs. We have lowered the price to reflect the change and ensure Pink Snack remains a great value, affordable treat.”
And Snacks aren't the only... snacks... affected. Cadbury had a similar response to one fan who asked about a new slimline Moro.
Ah here Cadbury, leave it out.
