Cinema goers at a recent premiere in London’s West End Vue Cinema got to try an amazing world first – fluorescent Cornettos. Except they weren’t told their treats were going to glow.
Only as they entered the theatre did the unsuspecting public notice beams of fluorescent yellow cones when the lights went down.
The fluorescent snacks, developed for Wall’s Ice Cream, were created using riboflavin (aka Vitamin B), which gives out a glow when under certain UV lights.
Although we’re not sure if this is going to be an ongoing treat or a mere publicity stunt, we REALLY want to try one for ourselves.
