Going For Gold: Rebecca Adlington Wins 10 Stars On Her First Bushtucker Trial

Rebecca Adlington got to finally silence the critics last night as she completed her first ever Bushtucker Trial. Adlington didn't just complete it, she absolutely nailed it.  The Olympic swimmer was chosen to undertake the 'Drown Under' challenge, where she found herself submerged in a tank full of baby crocodiles and spiders. 24-year-old Adlington, who has been exempt from trials for the last week due to a medical condition, finally got to show the I'm a Celeb audience what she's made of, taking home the maximum ten stars. Murky waters: Adlington may be an Olympic swimming gold medalist, but we're pretty sure she'd rather have stayed out of the water on this occasion. The triumphant athlete was more than happy with herself telling Ant and Dec, "I’m absolutely buzzing.  My first trial, ten stars. I couldn’t be more happy." Adlington has been receiving backlash on social media sites for her exclusion from trials, with many asking why she was even allowed to participate in the show. Camp members, who too we're finding it difficult to cope with the lack of participation, were thrilled at the news on her return. We're delighted Adlington finally got bring home the goods/foods.
