Tonight was not a good night for Mayo man Louis Walsh, who has lost half of his X Factor finalists in the first week.

Two-piece Blonde Electra were the first to go in tonight's double elimination, leaving Overload Generation and Stephanie Nala to fight it out to remain in the competition.

Simon Cowell branded the boyband's performance "shockingly bad" and voted for them to leave the show, with Cheryl also voting against the band.

Mel B and Louis both supported the five-piece, sending the competition to deadlock.

Overload Generation received the lowest votes from the public and were eliminated.
