Met Éireann has said that today will provide “good drying in fresh westerly winds” so if you weren’t planning on it already, it might be an idea to hang a load of washing on the clothesline.
The forecaster says that today will be mainly dry with sunny spells and highest temperatures between 14 and 19 degrees Celsius.
Be warned however as it also said that a few light showers are likely with tonight bringing wetter and cooler conditions.
Tomorrow will be a mixture of heavy downpours and sunny spells with highest temperatures around 14 to 17 degrees Celsius.
That is pretty much the outlook for the rest of the week with wet and windy weather combining with some bright and dry spells. It is also expected to be a little cooler than previous weeks.
But we won’t worry about that just yet because today is “good drying weather”.
