Grease – Channel 4 (5.50pm)
John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John star in this musical about a guy who risks losing the girl he likes to save his reputation.

The X Factor Results – TV3 (8.00pm)
As well as the sing-off, there will be performances by pop sensation Taylor Swift and past X Factor winners Little Mix.

Downton Abbey – UTV (9.00pm)
This week on the period drama Harold lands himself in trouble while Blake and Mary are forced to find common ground.

The Shining – RTÉ Two (9.00pm)
After taking a job at a remote hotel a writer finds himself tormented by evil spirits. Starring Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall.

Love/Hate – RTÉ One (9.30pm)
Tonight in the crime drama, kingpin Nidge turns to Janet for comfort when he is faced with a ghost from his past.
