Ippo the baby zonkey has been born at an animal reserve in Italy.
A zonkey is a cross between a zebra and a donkey and Ippo is a foal of a male zebra and an endangered donkey breed from Amiata. The zonkey’s father was adopted from a failing zoo.
“Ippo is the only one of his kind in Italy,” reserve employee Serena Aglietti told ANSA.

According to the reserve managers, Ippo was not actually bred intentionally, but is the product of the zebra's determination after he climbed a protective fence to get to the donkey.
Pure love right there!
