Calling all basic b*tches: Your fave alcoholic drink is now in doughnut form

New York – the city that brought us the cronut – has struck gold again.

It’s a place famous for delicious cuisine and has now given the world the best Friday food ever, the prosecco doughnut.

Yep, two of our favourite things are now one and thankfully, these bad boys aren’t just regular doughnuts with some flavoured icing.

They’re actually infused with prosecco and sprinkled with gold leaf and pink glitter and have been a long time coming.

“For the past two years we have been perfecting our recipes, craft and vision,” Leslie Polizzotto, who co-owns the Doughnut Project in New York, told Delish.

These would be ideal for everything from a bridal shower to a particularly tough morning at work.
