Did you have a bad Valentine’s Day yesterday? If your day of love didn’t go exactly to plan, try to see the bright side: at least it wasn’t as bad as this guy’s.
The Sun reports that a poor man from Manchester had a pretty crap February 14th, mainly because his other half decided to dump him via an advertising notice board in a petrol station (see above). Yes, a petrol station – you read that right.
According to reports, the heart-breaking advertisement was taken out last week on the condition that it was specifically displayed on February 14th in order to maximise the pain. Nice.
The Amscree digital billboard usually costs around €100 a month to hire, so we imagine that this lady must have had a good reason for doing what she did. However, it is still a pretty mean way to cut ties with your other half.
“This has to be the meanest dump ever. Not such a great Valentine’s day for the man in question here,” said Jordan Wilson, the man who originally spotted the advert.
“To get dumped is bad enough, but the humiliation of seeing it displayed at your local petrol station is just one step too far,” he added.
We have one question: what the hell happened between this couple to warrant such a mean/humiliating break up?
