There is very little in this life as frustrating as losing your phone.
Whether it fell under the couch or was pilfered by a light-fingered bystander on a night out, the crushing fear of losing all of your contacts, photos and a pricey handset is a feeling that most of us are familiar with.
However, if you have a Gmail account and an Android handset, everything is about to change.
Simple log into your account on any desktop and Google ‘find my phone’ and you’ll be presenting with something that looks a little like this…
It will show you the location of the phone connected to your account and also let you call it if it happens to be nearby.
While Android Device Manager already offered many of these capabilities, this makes it a LOT simpler to track down your phone and save you from a complete and utter panic attack.
