Former X Factor contestant Paul Akister has agreed that Louis Walsh “wimped out” during the results show on Sunday night by sending the vote to deadlock.
Fellow judge Mel B already lashed out at Louis this week saying that he had made the wrong decision and now Paul – who was sent home on Sunday night – has revealed that he agrees with his Spice Girl mentor.
“Yeah, if I was on the judging panel, I would say who I thought was better, whether it be me or Jay. Like, make a decision,” Paul told MTV.co.uk.
“But, if it was actually true that he couldn’t decide and that we were both as good as each other, then fair enough, but I just think he should have said either way.”
Paul sang Emeli Sandé’s Clown on the night, but lost out to Jay James when the decision was brought to the public vote and now that he’s gone, he’s tipped Andrea Faustini to win.
“I think Andrea is going to win. His voice is ridiculous and he’s a really nice guy – you can’t deny that voice.”
