Heart-breaking, But Oh-So-Cute: Oskar The Blind Kitten Gets His First Toy

We’re a bunch of animal fanatics here in the Her.ie office and there was barely a dry eye left in the place when we came across this video of the adorable Oskar.

Oskar is a kitten who is completely blind. The poor little guy was born without properly-formed eyeballs. However, he’s blessed to live in a lovely home with owners who do everything they can to ensure that he’s kept entertained and happy.

This video, which was made last year when Oskar’s family adopted him, has started going viral all of a sudden and we can definitely see why. The video shows Oskar’s reaction when he is given his first ever toy – a few balls that have bells inside them.

Oskar may be blind, but he can “see” the balls by using his ears to sense where they have fallen. If anything this video just goes to show that disabled pets need just as much love as regular ones.
