Her Hero Of The Week Is… Dedicated To Two Men In Uniform

Ever wondered where all the good men are gone? Or where are all the gods? So have we. It’s that time of the week again, ladies… We're only too delighted to offer #HerHeroOfTheWeek, to An Garda Siochana. This week the folk in blue helped save Christmas... A fortnight ago, after a long week in the office, one member of the Her.ie team set off to make her daily commute home. As she rushed to make the 9 o' clock bus that would bring her back north of the border, she jumped from a taxi, leaving behind her most prized possession... Her 2-month-old laptop. Devastated she turned to the superheroes in blue for help and reported it lost. As the days and nights passed, and the week turned into a fortnight, the glimmer of hope of ever finding her beloved Mac Air dwindled. Yesterday however two gentlemen Gardai came to save the day, Conor Burns and Barry Purcell, pictured below this afternoon at Rugby training, (don't ask how we were able to get hold of this photo). Thanks to a tracker on the computer and some swift work by these lads, this Her's Christmas has been saved. From Monday on this absolute classic will be on repeat in the office... lets hope the JOE lads are fans of Mark Morrison. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uB1D9wWxd2w All together now, "return of the mac..." Moral of the story folks, place a tracker on all valuable belongings, ALWAYS use Hailo, and call the Gardai... They're a great bunch all together.   Do you know a HERO?
