The second series kicks off on Comedy Central on Monday 1st October with 7 episodes of the quirky, humorous show to look forward to. The re-commission follows the runaway success of the first series that had critics describing it as ‘funny, original and totally believable’. Impressively the series averaged 210,000 viewers and became the channel’s second most-watched show.
“While filming the first series I think we all knew that we were working on something special and that it had a lot of charm. It definitely breaks barriers in comedy in a way that I find funny,” says Amy.

Amy braved the rain and showed off an enviable pair of pins in a pair of leather shorts
The back story goes like this; Amy’s character Alice lives with her boyfriend Mitch and their gay best friend Richie. After one particularly big night out, they have an unplanned threesome which results in an even more unplanned pregnancy. The trio decide it’s time to ditch the party lifestyle and have the baby.
Now you’re all up to speed what does the second series have in store for the unlikely parents. Alice, Mitch and Richie have put their hedonistic lifestyle behind them but are they taking their parental responsibilities seriously? Are they heck! They’re settling disputes by playing ‘spin the baby’.

Not just a dab hand at this acting lark the pretty blonde also writes chick lit. Although she admits it’s easier wearing one professional hat at a time. “I’ve tried writing when I get back after a day on set but the hours are just so long. At times I’ve felt like I have multiple personality disorder! You’ve spent the day filming and playing a part only to come home and start writing about different characters. It’s too much,” says Amy.
