The Mentalist.
The show returns to Irish screens tonight for the first episode in a new series.
The Mentalist tells the story of Patrick Jane, a famous "psychic" outs himself as a fake and begins working as a consultant for the California Bureau of Investigation so he can find the madman who killed his wife and daughter.
In tonight's episode, a police officer is shot dead during a hostage situation orchestrated by Jane to catch a killer. Because of this, Patrick and Lisbon are sent out of town to investigate the discovery of a skeleton.
The Mentalist will screen tonight on Aertv, RTE1 at 22.35.
