But if your purchase happens to be of the leather persuasion, we might just have the answer for you.
Spotted by Cosmopolitan, one YouTuber has come along with a handy hint to save your feet the aches and pains of looking fabulous.
And all you need is the use of a hairdryer and thick socks.
The top tip shared by alpha m shows how you simply need to don a thick pair of socks, pull on your shoes and blast the sore spots with a high heat from your hairdryer.
After about 20-30 seconds of heat, walk around in the shoes to loosen them up before removing your shoes and socks. When you put back on the footwear, be prepared for a massive difference.
Genius!
