Can we just say that we’d like to nominate this woman for the daughter-of-the-year award. Ladies, meet Samantha Busch, a woman who decided to play a hilarious/traumatising prank on her poor mammy.
The 22-year-old asked her boyfriend to take a picture of her clinging for dear life to some rocks on a cliff edge in the Grand Canyon and then send it to her worried mother. Check out the picture:

We can only imagine the fright Samantha's mam got when she saw this picture!
What we don’t see is the fact that Samantha is actually standing on a secure ledge which is hidden behind the rock she’s clinging to. Samantha posted the image to social networking website Reddit, along with the caption: “Mom was worried about my trip to the Grand Canyon, I sent her this picture.”
Nice, right?
Since posting the picture, Samantha has received thousands of comments and people have started taking their own copycat images.
But why did she decide to give her mother such a fright? Well, she wanted to teach her a lesson apparently.
“For five days up before I went on this trip, she [her mother] was worried about us visiting the Grand Canyon, because ‘people are dumb, they fall off, the wind blows them over the edge,’” said Samantha, speaking to ABC News.
“So while I was there, I found a cool little spot that I could sneak into, and lean back and look like I am falling off, and I thought that would be a great picture to send back home to my parents, who were worried about me,” she added.
Let’s just say Samantha’s picture had the effect she was hoping for…
“My heart just dropped for 30 seconds,” said her mother, Rebecca.
Although thankfully she has since forgiven her daughter for the prank. Do you think your mammy would be so forgiving if you pulled something like this?
