Hit Songs, Harry Potter and Hermitage Green: The Best of Tonight’s TV

From a magical boy to the Irish Book Awards, there’s a little something for everyone tonight. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone – UTV (3.15pm) The first instalment of the film franchise in which Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) learns about his magical abilities. Strictly Come Dancing – BBC One (7.00pm) Following the departure of Ben and Kristina the remaining couples will be pulling out all the stops to impress the judges and viewers. The X Factor – TV3 (8.00pm) This weekend the singers will be performing two songs, one of which will be chosen by the public but only four people will make it through to the semi-final. The Saturday Night Show – RTÉ One (9.35pm) Brendan O’Connor is joined by Anne Doyle, Darina and Rachel Allen along with Fabrice Muamba and Liz Jones. Hermitage Green will also be performing.
