Fancy breaking a world record?
DublinatChristmas.ie is calling on people far and wide to dig out their cheesiest Christmas jumper this Sunday, the 25th of November and join them for the Geansaí Nollaig challenge at 4pm on O’Connell Street to set a new world record for the most number of Christmas jumpers in the one place at the same time.
So whether it’s a reindeer emblazoned monstrosity or a seriously synthetic little number from the 80s, Dublin Town wants you to get your jumper on and take part in fun event in aid of the youth organisation Foróige. This is all part of the great activities planned for Dublin’s biggest Christmas tree lighting ceremony on O’Connell Street, with the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Naoise Ó Muirí. For more information visit www.dublinatchristmas.ie or follow @DublinTown #GN2012 on Twitter.
So buy yourself Christmas jumper, or better yet make your own - there will be a make-your-own-jumper stall - and join in with the festive fun.
