How Far Would You Go For A Pay Rise? Company Offers Employees Money In Exchange For Doing THIS

How far would you go to get a raise in your current job? We’re asking because a real estate agency in New York is offering its staff a pay rise but there’s just one catch: they have to get a tattoo of the company logo.

Metro reports that Rapid Realty employees are being offered a quick way to climb the pay grade, they just have to be willing to go under the needle and get inked in exchange. If an employee gets a tattoo, the company will give them a 15 per cent wage increase.

It sounds a little bizarre but believe it or not 40 staff members have already taken up their manager on his offer and are now proudly sporting the company’s green and black logo on their skin.

“I think it’s a good opportunity to show commitment to a company that makes going to work fun every day,” said one employee, speaking to CBS New York.

“My wife was a little concerned but I said, you know what, it was the best commitment I could think of,” said another.

The idea to ‘brand’ staff members came after an employee rang up the boss to him that he had decided to get a permanent momento of the workplace.

The tattoos themselves cost around $300 and there is no restriction on where you get them on your body.

Surprisingly, Rapid Realty manager Anthony Lolli has yet to get a company tattoo himself (despite the entire thing being his idea!) however, he says he is planning on getting one in the future.
