Cliff Henry is an old romantic. In November 2014, he approached Keywest on Grafton Street, and asked for their help.
He wanted to propose to his childhood sweetheart Fiona O’Hehir on Killiney Hill and he wanted their help in making the moment special.
So taking his non-assuming girlfriend for a walk up the hill on her birthday, she was probably a little elated to not only see Dublin band Keywest performing, but they happened to be singing her favourite song Raglan Road.
Asking for ‘tourists’ a.k.a. a camera crew to catch the special moment, Fiona had no idea she was in for a special surprise.
And if that wasn’t enough work, Cliff roped in Bono and Ali for a bit of advice.
We won’t ruin it for you, but it’s definitely worth a watch!
Nice work Cliff – if this is the proposal, we can’t wait to see what you do for the wedding!
