How Sweet: NFL Star Proposes to Six-Year-Old Fan

J.J. Watt spends his days training in the gym and shouldering grown men to the ground but this week the NFL star proved that he has a heart of gold underneath all that muscle.

Earlier this year a six-year-old girl called Breanna appeared in a Youtube video. She was crying about the fact that she wasn’t old enough to marry the Houston Texans defender.

 

This was the Youtube video that started the whole thing off.

After seeing the adorable clip, Watt sent out a tweet on Monday to try to find her. He wrote: “Does anyone happen to know this cute little girl? We have to find her and turn those tears into a smile.”

Within 48 hours, and with the magic of social media, he did find her and turned her tears into a smile by popping the question.

He posted a number of snaps on Twitter yesterday of the magical moment and said: “Thanks to your help, we found six-year-old Breanna and she said yes to being my pretend wife for the day…” 

Breanna accepted Watt's 'proposal' and gave him a big hug.

The NFL star used Twitter to find Breanna and it worked.

Now we wonder if we put up a video like this, would Ryan Gosling find us and propose? There's only one way to find out!
