If you grew up with an older/younger sibling then chances are you’ll know exactly where this note is coming from – we’ll admit that this is one we could definitely relate to.
The Huffington Post reports that Carolyn Gregorie, the Associate Lifestyle Editor of the website, recently rediscovered a note she had written about her brother when she was younger.
Entitled ‘Things to do to bother Nick’ the note features a list of things that Carolyn was planning on doing to stop her sibling from annoying her.
The writer said that she wrote the note when she was around six or seven years old and that she is not as mean as this note would have you believe.
In the note, Carolyn outlines her plans to “jump” on Nick’s bed and “sing really loud songs” and to tell her brother to “shut up.” She also plans to “step on his feet and say it was an accident.”
It’s interesting that number five is missing from the list. Carolyn says that she “ran out of steam” when she was writing the note and most likely number five would involve interrupting her brother, writing a mean letter about him and/or stabbing him with an ice cream cone.
Oh Carolyn, we’ve all been there…
