They say that women mature faster than men. After seeing this picture, we’re sort of inclined to agree. A picture of a man ignoring his date and building a menu fort in a restaurant has gone viral.

Digital Spy reports that the picture, which was taken by Adam Howell, a bemused customer at the Olive Garden restaurant in North Carolina, shows the man entertaining himself with the menus.

According to reports, the poor guy had been in an argument with his date before he started building the makeshift wall between them.

Alan said that a waitress eventually took all the menus away from the man but that didn’t help matters at the table.

“Both their phones were out for the rest of the meal,” said Adam.

“He didn’t seem to think that it was too ridiculous. He wasn’t apologising or anything. It was just something that happened,” he added.
