They say the best therapy when you’re annoyed about something is to write about. And if you’re really talented you can always write a song about it.
Tara Stacey did just that.
The Galway born girl contacted Her.ie after finding herself in “a pretty helpless situation.”
The singer-songwriter purchased an Electric Picnic ticket from a male on Done Deal who promised that he was sending the ticket by swift post. After transferring money in to his account Tara has been unable to contact the man, who went by the name of Johnathan McLoughlin from Kerry, and the ticket never arrived.
Putting pen to paper Tara vented her anger towards McLoughlin in song and with the help of some friends uploaded it online the same day.
With a catchy tune and clever lyrics, Tara hopes to spread the message of ‘Johnathan McLoughlin's Electric Picnic Scam.’
The Chorus: “You took my money and you turned off your phone, now I hope that you’re happy Johnathan Mc Loughlin, And I hope you get this message and realise what you’ve done, Cause’ I hate the thought of you thinking that you won.”
John, wherever you are... we hope you've too think about what you've done.
