Do you love the great outdoors? Do you favour Kermit over the other muppets? Is broccoli your favourite food? Well, then you obviously love the colour green.
And hey, if you do that’s great. Green is synonymous with relaxation. According to
Sensational Color, being in the presence of the colour green stimulates your pituitary gland. Your muscles are more relaxed, and your blood histamine levels increase, which leads to a decrease in allergy symptoms and dilated blood vessels, aiding in smoother muscle contractions. In short, green is calming, stress-relieving, and at times invigorating. It’s been shown to improve reading ability and creativity. Green stands for balance, nature, spring, and rebirth.
It’s a grand oul colour and it’s no surprise that many chose it for their homes.
But we happen to have stumbled across maybe the biggest fan of green in the country.
As I conducted my daily perusal of houses-I’ll-never-afford, I came across this little beauty on (aptly) Greenville Terrace.
Greenville Terrace is in the heart of Dublin 8, a stone’s throw from the canal, our office and all of town’s wonderful amenities. It’s fast becoming one of the most desirable locations in the city so properties here are gold dust.
This one is a gorgeous gem for anyone who enjoys the combination of period features with modern fittings and fixtures.
The 2 bedroom house boasts spacious living areas with a private terrace.
Priced at €495,000, it’s slightly on the higher side of properties in the immediate area but judging by the images it’s move-in ready. All it may need is a lick of paint for those who may prefer a more neutral canvas.
