Currently, there’s a national orange weather warning in effect with a further wind warning for coastal regions and high ground in Donegal, Galway and Mayo.
It’s not exactly what we all want to hear on Christmas Eve eve and people travelling over the next few days are urged to take extra care.
The Road Safety Authority (RSA) have issued extra guidelines for road users and you can check them out here.
