If you’re a fan of this pre-sex activity, it might be time for a change

Ewwwww.

Who knew?!

The lead up to sex is almost as good as the deed itself and foreplay doesn’t always get the attention it should.

However, if it’s a priority for you, then this is likely to be of interest.

There’s multiple ways to engage in a little foreplay and an increasingly popular activity is including food.

Chocolate sauce, whipped cream, strawberries – dessert options are often high on the list when it comes to teasing your partner but this can cause an unwanted side effect.

In conversation with Women’s Health, Kathryn Boling, a doctor at Mercy Medical Center, said you need to be careful when using foods containing sugar for foreplay.

Why?

It’s very simple really – the sugar can lead to a yeast infection and no one wants that.

“Using anything with sugar in it as a lubricant (whether on purpose or not) can cause a yeast infection as yeast thrives on sugar,” explained the health expert.

Nasty.
