Nicole Scherzinger has reportedly asked the X-Factor UK to double her salary if they want her to return. Her current salary for the show is £750,000 but the singer has demanded bosses pay her £1.5 million if they expect to see her back as a judge this season.
There’s no doubt that Scherzinger was the star judge last year, both her acts were in the final and she mentored the X-Factor winner for 2012, James Arthur. Scherzinger also provided the comic relief on a show that included crazy Louis, moany Gary and Tulisa.
The singer is currently in discussions with X-Factor bosses according to the Sunday Mirror, but her salary has become a tough issue to negotiate.
A source commented: “"Nicole sees the role as a job, not just a chance to be on TV. She hopes for an agreement but she won't go back unless terms are right."
Louis Walsh and Gary Barlow have been named as returning to the show and Sharon Osbourne is reported to be making a comeback which begs the question. Why is Tulisa still insisting she has not been fired?
