If we're honest, when the TV ad breaks appear we take it as our queue to nip to the toilet or pop on the kettle. However, every now and then, one captures the imagination, makes us laugh, or occasionally makes us cry.
Here are nineteen of our favourites...
1. Old Spice, The Man Your Man Could Smell Like
I'm on a horse.
2. Snickers, Batman.
You could be my assistant. Would you like that? Would you like to ride with Batman?
3. Guinness, The Quarrel
Michael Fassbender. Mic Christopher's Heyday. An apology. Amazing.
4. Bord na Mona, Enjoy the Warmth of a Real Fire.
Oh, she was the Sunday in every week.
5. Guinness, Anticipation
Another Guinness entry, but who didn't know the dance for this one?
6. Carlsberg, Dreams
